I am looking for a very efficient motor for my swift. i will buy my battery pack after i decide on which motor to buy. So far the Neu 1910/1.5y seems to be the number one contender. How does the 600+ compare for run times. Also are there any other motors out there that are more efficient out there to provide greater flight times?

From my experience Neu Motors are the most efficient. The larger 1910 is very slightly better than the 1907 but it is also slightly heavier.

Can’t comment on the other motors but I fly 7 minutes (timed) on my Neu 1907 1.5Y with 7S Emoli’s and at that point I am putting back in 80% battery capacity in mAh. Nice safe flying time.

On my 620SE With the 600+ and 5000 6s1p Flightpower pack you can get just over 8 mins of hovering and Forward flight (timed), thats with the 9T with 2050 head speed and 600 Vblades.
Im sure you would get alot longer if you:
Dropped the head speed to 1700 (just be carfull not to cook your speed control.)
Used thin airfoil blades. mabe 550 rotortec.
Drop a pinion if you can.
The plastic frames are lighter than the full metal/carbon setup i was running.
Save weight by using a BEC or small lipo and regulator, 1500 Evo20 2s1p works gr8.
401 gyro is light and works gr8.
The 4900 FP pack is a lighter than the 5000 but still has alot of capacity.
Use the stock tail blades, these are light and efficient.
If you really wanted to go mad then you could start drilling holes in the plastic.

I have been using the 600+ motor for a long time and on a gentle flight it will be cold to touch. (relative terms). And if you ever want to 3D it then it will rock your socks off! 14 degrese on 600 V-blades baby!

I'm selling my 1907 1.5y, I used it on 7s Emolis in my Swift. It's posted in the "for sale" section, I'm asking $90 shipped, perfect condition.

With a 9t pinion, I was getting 7-7.5 minute flight time on 7s 3000mah Emoli cells. If you only do sport flight, flight might last even longer. It's not the most powerful, but definitely one of the most efficient to keep amps down. It's a perfect motor for 6s Lipo, 7s Emoli, or 8s A123 (all have similar voltages). If you go with 4500-5000mah 6s lipo, you could easily get 10 minute flights.
