Hello
I just bought a TOKI 40 size engine with pipe. I was wondering if one presure tube coming from the pipe puts enough presure back into the tank like the original stock muffler. There are 2 ports in the pipe so I plug the one and fed the other back to the fuel tank. I was running low on fuel and do have a header tank but I had to auto rotate once my main tank ran out. There was not enough presure to keep the heli running. I hope someone knows how to test this problem. Thanks

in most cases, a motor will go rich when the main tank goes empty, not lean. Since you are no longer drawing fuel through an additional 6-8 inches of fuel line, it flows easier from just header to motor.
Where is your header located in relation to carb center?

Actually I have seen quite the opposite in all of my flying days. Leaner on the header, other than richer. The pressure has to travel through the main to the header, a lot more space to apply pressure. Sounds more like some kind of fuel flow issue to me. Of course this is MHO.

I had a problem with the motor going rich when the main tank emptied and started using fuel from just the header. This was solved when I switched my fuel set-up to a uniflow configuration. Since the conversion to uniflow, the motor runs consistent well into the header. It's an easy fix, and has worked well for me.
