Since Spektrum has made replacement modules for (Land) Cars.
See:

Will Spektrum make Air Modules for other Brand Radios?

Maybe for Futaba 12z , 14mz?

According to everything I have read from them - no. They like the idea of direct to SS control, where a module adds some latency in the conversion from PPM to SS. I dont expect to see air modules from Spektrum - but you never know...

These modules are for surface use only. They work with surface stick and pistol radios. They only support 3 servo channels max.

9303

Paul, Thanks for posting on this. Sorry to be dense, but.. Does that mean that there is no chance of a module-only DX upgrade for the 9303?

Don

It's easy. Just pretend it's the simulator...

From what I can tell, the entire reason for making there own radio was so they could go with 4 integrated recievers to make up for the latency of the 2.4ghz systems, the car systems are SLOWWW!!! lol

Paul,

Could you comment on the question about the Air Modules?

How about a module for the 12z of 14mz?

You know the Manufactor that hits the market first with a plugin
2.4ghz Module and Receiver, that is reliable and correct, will make alot of money!!

read the FCC Aprovals and you will know more and see the pics of the module for the 9303 D1SM module in testing faces for FCC approval \

as for the 12z/or 14mz there is rumor that futaba will licence the technology from nomad radios(http://support.nomadio.net) to make a radio and or a module for thier line of radios that will work with out interference to the DSM2 technology from Spectrum -
