Which ever one you are flying at the moment. This is a very subjective question, and the response depends on your defintion of 'better'. Most likely you won't get an unbiased opinion. Not many guys have flown both of these machines, and even if they have they may have not been setup similarly, or a bad experience with one may skew their perspective.

Quesions like this should probably not be asked at all.

The vibe did very well at 3DM last year, had nothing to do with the pilot on the sticks it was purely down to the machine

These questions should be in the main discussion zone, do a search this topic has been hammered.

Buy what you like the look of, if you are any good at 3D it will perform. Every machine has its fors and againsts.

Hello
Which is the best?
There both made of plastic, only real difference is one is American plastic and the other is Japanese plastic.

Probably good plastic mind.

hmm seems to me Curtis, Chen and a young Swiss lad have all proved the Vibe in 3D not to mention Mr Mott from the UK as well

Oh yeah PJ it is all down to the machine as i've flown one seriously I haven't got my Synergy yet and it will be interesting to find if I enjoy flying one over the other after a bit of time with both

Actually, I don't think any of them have any "American" plastic in them.

I prefer the Raptor plastic - it is much cheaper than the Synergy stuff. I guess the Synergy is made of some some organic stuff harvested by Norwegian Virgins (Female that is)

synergy v Vibe

I can comment on this as i have both machines

Synergy
poor quality control of kit
lots of plastic (some people dont like that)

Vibe
Very good quality kit

Really to fly them both back to back as i have done often,Both machines have very similar cyclic power, although the vibe sems to fly smoother ( not as snappy as the Synergy, some prefer this).

The Synergy certainly recovers faster when you bog the head, probably because of the larger main gear.

Tail power on both machines is as far as i can tell identical.

Vibe has needed some mixing to get it to roll axial, this has been the same on both of my Vibes and with everyone else's that i have seen.

Both machines are very good precise flying models that are able to be set up to fly how you want.

I am selling my Vibes to stick with the Synergys, simply because im stil a stick banger and the faster recovery of the head and the extra snap suits my "3D" flying, if you can call my flying "3D" lol.lol

I had one of the first Synergy kits in Austrlaia and it has the sloppy ball links and the bearings on the drive shaft in the boom were glued of centre along with a few other small problems with the kit upon assembly, If your a competent model builder these are not really a drama, i cant pick it flying it, this may change when i get around to changing them to the new chrome ones.

Over all the Quality of the Vibe kit is far superior to the Synergy, this im sure we all know by now.

The room to lay out the radio gear with gov, reg etc etc on both machines is good although the Synergys is a little bit better in my opinion.

The debate on which is better is more of a case of which brand of car do you think is best, both are fantastic flying machines that only a few people in the world can really exploite to there potential.

If i was you i would go for what model you like the look of and can get support and help with close to you

PM me if you need any info

Synergy v Vibe

Opps i forgot to mention this

a top pilot can fly a dog turd and make it look easy

its the set up and the SKILL of the operator that make the difference no machine will make you fly better

best of seting it up to be smooth and strong with good power and make it RELIABLE and BURN MORE FUEL

that way you will become a better flyer
