It doesn't make up for good old fashioned stick time. It may make things easier now but as you get better you will realize that you can fly a stock heli anyway. Controlling the tail now prepares you for real flight tail drifting.

Going back through (the lessons ) nose in for most people is more fun than it was learning tail in...

you wont break any thing and its a lot of laughs..you'll feel like your a moron because everything is backwards...

put the training gear on and do it just for fun....dont even take it so seriously...and when you dont feel silly anymore your probably ready to lift it off for a second or two...

If your working with a big bird just take it slow...dont make any sudden or stick banging moves...take your time and it will work like a charm...

Trying to spin it around in the air is more pucker factor than fun..

a simulator is the way to go...but the lessons on the deck ( nose in ) are just a lot of fun...
