Cliff....the carbon fiber on the Avant canopy are vinyl graphics that came with the avant.

I read you can do carbon fibre look also by airbrush. I remember that you need a loose woven mat and spray through it but never tried myself.

Ive done the CF look with the mat but it is hard to get it around curves because its gotta stay in that spot. Plus you have to make sure all the carbon fiber matches up.

All i'll say is make sure you get two opposites on the top and bottom...
At least that way it will be easy to know which way up it is
