For Sale/Trade

I am bringing a Century Predator 90 helicopter to sell/trade at the event. It suffered a minor tipover recently. It has been disassembled for inspection to make a repair parts list. All needed parts are written down and parts catalog included. Needs about $80 worth of parts (boom, fan, main shaft, landing gear struts, a couple bearings). Canopy is like new and pristine!

Bring some trade ideas, and I will of course always consider trading for cash.

Leaving bright and early Saturday Morning.

What a perfect event!

Plenty of flight stations, pilots of all levels, very helpful and friendly people, fantastic food, great parking, smelly porta pottis, did I mention the great food. Oh, yeah, the food was great, too.

Bart B, nice to meet you and hope to hook up with you again before next year since we are close enough to each other.

AMainMaker, thanks for the help with the programming.

Pinoy and Nick, great fun as always.

Tim, thanks for the event and dinner Sat. night. Bring a heli along some time when you commute to Chicago for a 1/2 day of work and stop by and fly on your way home. I will give you easy directions and you won't be far out of the way.

I can't wait for the next one.

This was the first Heli meet we had and everyone was soooooooooooo nice. I was able to meet Nicks mom (Teresa) and Jasons girlfriend (Angela). We went shopping Saturday!!!! We will be doing this again. We ended up with 30 pilots. This was a wonderful event. Hope to see a few more next year and the friends we met again. Thanks for the support and all the friendships we aquired.

Great time

All,

A special thanks to Tim and the Winamac gang for a great funfly. I wish I could have stayed longer on Saturday, but it was just not in the cards.

Nonetheless, it was great catching up with everyone and watching the outstanding flying by all.

Glad everyone made it home safe and feel free to "bill" me for the scratchs in the runway from the "Bolt Scuff"

Later
Erik

This was a great event! I enjoyed meeting you all, and the awesome field. Yes Eriks bolt scrape was cool. Jason I know i did not get the sideways sliding auto on video. Tracy Angela says that she had lots of fun also hanging out with you, your daughter and Teresa. Tim whenever you would like us to come back up from Muncie again just say so. Thanks Jason R.

Had a great time..

The food was awsome.. I love BBQ!!!

Had a great time flying the heli..and snuck in some foamy time as well... and I was not the only one!

Rode up with Cindy and Dennis from Al's hobby in their RV... it made the ride more fun...

This was a vary nice event.... turnout was quite good.. Tim knows how to throw it down..

For you plankers.. he is having a Jet event the last weekend in Sept... should also be a hit!!

THANKS TO ALL OF YOU FOR COMMING!!!!

I would like to say THANK YOU on behalf of the Winamac Aeromodelers and Tracy and myself for making the 1st Winamac Heli's Over The Heartland a rousing sucsess! As a somwhat converted planker I wasn't sure if anyone would show up! I personally had one of the best weekends in a long time. Met lots of new friends and learned more about helicopters in 1 day than I did in the last year struggling to figure things out on my own. A big thanks goes to my buddy Ron Ballard for supplying and cooking the chicken wings and tender Juicy Breasteses!! With support like this an event has to be a sucsess. Nick Maxwel thanks for tweaking my choppers and showing me that I might as well quit now and go back to my Jets!!!! Unbelievable flying!!! The same goes to Tyler Bonta, and his dad for being a great pair of modelers and showing that unconditional love a father has for his son when he splatters it and still brings him back home with him!!!!(LOL) Jason Harmon thanks for the parts and the help on the Raptors. Can't belive I had so many factory support members at our first event! Thanks to all of you guys and your love of the hobby and willingness to give your time to others. Thanks to Mike Polstra and Chet Swihart for setting up the flightline and reducing the weight on my shoulders. Next year will be better yet and we'll get those P.P's emptied by then.(LOL)(Looks like the field mantanece crew forgot a little somthing! What do we pay them for anyway!!!) We had alot of people ask about seeing some of the airplanes in the hanger fly but I thought that might not be apropriate for a heli meet. What do you guys think. Ralph and myself have a few planes that you might not see very much at your local grass field and if you'd like to see something go we can do that next time. Its up to you. Can't wait to see some of you at another meet in the future and see you soon.

Tim and the local crew

I would have loved to have seen some of the planes in the hangar fly. I have never watched a turbine jet in real life, so that would have been a real treat. Same goes for the giant scale planes.

As one of the small fish in a big pond, I felt perfectly comfortable rubbing elbows with everyone. This is what makes a heli meet a fantastic heli meet. Nobody had a head that was too inflated to fit a hat around. Everyone jumped in to help out any way they could. I didn't see an "clicks" or "preferred members only groups". I didn't hear any name brand bashing, no piloting skill bashing, no teasing, etc.

I can assure you that I have a handful of local pilots that simply refuse to attend events because they are intimidated by the aggressive and unapproachable show offs. I wish they attended this meet because the show offs simply were not there. There were some great pilots, but they didn't display that "big shark in a little pond" mentality.

Tim, I believe some of the best events are the ones that don't have a schedule or limitations written in stone. Things just kind of happen if they happen, within reason.

Tim,

Great event man!!! I must say that this event is one of the most relaxing event ever. Just show up and fly! If you can eat that's even better because the food was great also.

Highlights:
As usual, Nick put up some of the best flying I've ever seen.
Tyler is also doing his thing down the deck.
Ben just really amazes me how fast he learn a maneauver (3D master next year?).
Jason just had to show his sliding auto SIDEWAYS.
Why scrape your blade if you can scrape the BOLTS, way to go ERIC!
Plenty of time to fly on a gorgeous field and plenty of time to talk to other pilots and guests.... priceless...

I'll be back next year!!!!!!
