Seven Layer Cookies

Any one want some home made 7 layer cookies? Made like 3 lbs the other day and still have 1 lb left, so I'll bring 1/2 of it. First come first serve.

With the right tools , it was not that hard to make. I used the hobby matt to keep the counter tops clean, used my new arbor press to crush the whole almonds, used the drill press to mix the stuff together, used the cement trowel to spread the layers, added loctile to hold the layers together, used my heat gun to cook it and the dremel with the cut off wheel to cut them. BTW I did clean all the tools first with denatural alcohol.

I guess I should bring what I have left. We do have a doctor and a retired EMT in the club just incase.

Not sure if it's favored but the colors are nice.
I used the permanent one to make it red and the wick one for the green and had to mix the red and some 3 in 1 oil to get that orange color between the layers. Also used some grease to keep it moist.

See you around 11:30

It was very cold today.

I had to fight off the guys from eating all the cookies once I got there. I was able to save a few of them for 2 hours. After that I got tired and gave in and let who every was there to finish it off. You know the saying "You snooze you lose".

I'll let the few who ate cookies tell you how it taste.

Jackets were handed out to those that were there.

Sorry Tony, I did not know you were still going that late and was to leave the batteries behind.

I got to the field around 1:30 and found a few of the die hards there-- Roman, Sr., Edwin, George and John but no cookie-- not even a crumb! I heard they were delightful, though.

Gene, any chance you'll be baking again?

Roman, nice job on the threads-- will wear them proudly!
