I am having some problems keeping my HB v4 from spinning. I am constantly having to apply a little left rudder to keep the heading. I was wondering if switching to direct drive would slove this problem. I was also considering extending the tail boom some to give the tail rotor more leverage. But, I can't seem to get the boom out of the mounting bracket. Anyone know how to accomplish this w/o breaking the bracket or the boom?

The package I sent you should have a direct drive attachment in it. it does not have the motor mount/fin that heli-hobby sales but the attachment is there. You can use a high authority tail motor w/o the pinion gear. It will provide better tail stability and authority.

I had to put some acetone or nail polish remover in the boom to remove it. I also upgraded to an aluminum boom and drilled holes in my main frame for screws. I went with a slight larger boom than original and used a smaller piece of a dow rod to adjust the size form the main frame to the larger boom. I did this for the tail attachment also. This makes for a quick boom replacement. I believe there are 2 of the larger booms within your package as well. You will just need to get some dow rods thats the size of the original boom to make it fit. The aluminum boom replacements are really cheap at the LHS.
