I have a Gy502, read a thread about converting the gy502 to gy601. But most of the components are sold out or discontinued. Just wonder if anyone have a spare components with no use.

PM me.

Thanks.

Andy

Components

Let me know what you need.
I might have some of the things you need laying around.
Do you just need that chip?

Think I have everything you need to change the 502 to the 601.
I am looking for the chip now. Should be in one of my bins somewhere. Might have about 5-10 pieces.

You can get those chips for free as a sample on maxim-ic.com. Just received mine a couple days ago. As for the rest of the components, hell just go dig up one of your old electronics. I bet you you'll find the resistors and capacitors in a junk pile somewhere.

You are correct Andy but I have heard a few people getting denied free samples due to the over use of the free sample program. In regards to the other electronics I am sure everyone has an old computer motherboard etc because thats a goldmine.

I've been getting free samples of maxim and dallas chips for over 11 years. Never ever been denied.

I also have never been denied but I have a small computer company so I use the business name. I agree that the samples are free but some people seem to have problems acquiring these chips.

Cheers
