I know technically could be piro flip or chaos....both look chaotic..
I've seen debates about the piro flip and chaos...axis of rotation has to be this or that to call it a chaos etc. For practical purposes, it looks so similar. With blue skies and temp at near 60's F, Just hovered higher, started my left hand piros, and coordinated the right stirs with neg/pos pitch. After about 4-5 completed flips...paused and did it again. Pretty wicked maneuver for sure...can make you dizzy just watching it. Looking at Alan Z's 3D video, he calls the 'Next maneuver' a 'chaos'... I'm sure technically, his could really be called piro flips as well...who's measuring the axis of rotation angle anyways... it's all good!

Flew fri/sat and sunday, definately got my fix for the week!

Cool
I flew Saturday and today and also tried something new (wait, was this your first time to try it in real life?)
I finally got side-in hovers. Not completely comfortable with them, but can hold them ok.
Not trying to steal your thread, I'm just kinda feeling like you

I've been practicing them on G2 and starting to get the hang of it... Once I master it on the sim, then I'll try them for real !!

It felt NICE doing the piro-flips for the first time with the Rap 90SE on Sunday too, I'm still feeling the rush.

Did my first piro flips yesterday, man after the first couple I had to land shut down and go wait til I calmed down then went out and did some more, They much easier with my vibe than when I tried to do them with my Raptor 50, never could do one with my raptor 50 dont know why cause others could with my raptor 50 but I could not.

The way I have been told was a piro flip is a flip done in one pirouette. A chaos is a flip done in 2 pirouettes. Not sure if thats correct but thats what I have been told by a couple top pilots.
