I hear that it is not good to use more than 80% of your lipo battery... Is that 80% of voltage or 80% of amperage???? Please help with a good answer?? THANKS!!!

That would be amperage not the voltage.
Dont go below 3.7 volts per cell and to keep the battery pack in good shape and a longer life, dont use more than 80% of its capacity (amperage)

Actually, capacity is measured in mA/Hrs, not Amps.

Hey guys,
So what is the max safe discharge of each cell?
Does anyone know for sure????
My lipo's say do not discharge below 3V a cell.
Online you can come up with anything from 2.75V-3.3V a cell.
Most speed controls have a cut of @ 2.75V a cell usually with 3V the max.
Cell balancers usually have a 2.75 - 3V cut-off, same with some dischargers.
I have heard Thunder Power said not below 10V for a 11.1V (3.33V a cell).
Now I have heard DOKEY say 3.75V a cell.
Anyone have an answer??
I aim for the 3.3V a cell and usually get about 1900mah back into my 2100mah lipos.
Is this OK?

You are over discharging your battery (90%). 70 to 75% is usually the recommended amount of disharge. I have found that if you are doing a battery disharge test with a 2C disharge rate the finish voltage should be around 3.7 volts per cell. In checking for discharge when actually flying then you have to use the timed usage/recovery method to determine when to stop and charge the battery. Fly for a short time and do a recharge and see what mAH you put back in and then add or subtract time of usage as necessary until you reach the 70 to 75% usage figure.
