I heard good things about that motor from Slyder. I am thinking about buying those for direct drive use.

for a honey bee fp you need a edf-40 [ low volt ]. the 40 h is high volt. i run 7.4 li-po so i use the 40.

Actually I believe these are the full voltage ratings -
    EDP-50 - 6v~7.2v
    EDP-50H - 6v~8.4v
    EDF-40 - 6v~8.4v
    EDF-40H - 9.6~12v
I'm using the EDF-40H motor on my BCP at the moment.

Actually I discard the fan unit and just use the motor in a direct drive with a 3020 prop - Works great like that for the way I fly.

This is how it works on the Blade CP you can see even when I tried to bounce it around it held nice http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zOk6W0el0rc

Any landing you can walk away from is a good one!
