Everyone talks about the new stuff...

what is the oldest heli that you are flying ??

Do you ever use the old gearas well...like Kraft radios or whatever ??

Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.... Dennis

I have a pair of Schluter "Bell 222" pod and boom helicopters (at the time know as Heli-boys in the US) and a pair of Heim Star Ranger's. Both types were used by me in early 80's FAI competition.

KB 20

Kalt Baron 20, o.s28, Helimax Mini Piezo Gyro, Futaba T7UHF.
Learned all the basics on this little antique; Construction(you build the servo tray),fasteners, blades and balancing, radio installation, engine tune,throttle/pitch relation and setting, etc.
Discovered about Phasing, how heli acts when out of phase and how to adjust.
First flown with throttle and pitch on same servo, and without gyro. Later added separate servo for pitch and GY240. Finally, removed 240 and now flies well enough with the origional Piezo
