I don´t want to contradict anyone but I´ve just checked a few online shops here in Germany and all the basic 3D kits have no mention of a carbon battery tray.
My 2006 version came with one but it was listed as an extra in my package along with other non-standard parts.
cebc7, I suggest phoning(phoneing?) a supplier. They´ll tell you straight away.

I got two 2006 L10 3D kits and each had one included. The manual shows it as included on the cover. The one included is the short one, not the long #4000 one.

since late 2005,early 2006, Mikado came out with the new version logo 10 3D with new canopy, frame braces and carbon front battery support. I should have one on monday
Missed delivery Wednesday and had to wait till monday because of the holidays! I missed the delivery cause I was out buying a 12Z though, so that helped make up for it

the 2006 version has a CF battery support. As this page shows the canopy is not a new add.

@ cecb7, I paid nearly 1300 Euros (about 1500 Dollars) but everything was on it apart from the lipos.

@ lowflyer 101, have you tried removing the 3mm "brass" insert(if there is one) in the blades leaving a 4mm hole? It worked for me with a set.

The new 2006 version comes with 4mm bolts instead of 3mm. That's one of the new 2006 kit upgrades. Of course blades should also come with 4mm holes. Can you tell me if your kits came with CF stabilizers??

This is the list of what they said their logo 10 3D includes:
The Logo 10 3D features:
●Aluminium Swashplate
●Lightweight 16g paddles
●Mixing arm bearings
●Ball Raced Tail Rotor Lever
●3D rubber Dampers
●Tail Boom Brace
●Carbon Vertical Stabilizer
●Carbon Horizontal Stabilizer
●Seesaw/Tail pitch plate
●Autorotation hub
●Thrust bearings in head
●Fiberglass main blades 500mm
●Ultra Light, Stable chassis
●8mm Aluminium Spindle
●10mm Hollow Main Shaft
●5mm tail shaft
●Belt-driven Tail
●90° and 120° CCPM
●Finished Canopy
●Thrust Bearings in head

Please let me know if your kits have the same stuff.

Dakine, the main blades claim to be carbon but it look like fiber glasss to me the blades is white with black edge around ???? is the main blades in logo10-3D kits really carbon??? i dónt why they suplies 3mm holes blades with 4mmm main blades grip?
@ lowflyer 101, have you tried removing the 3mm "brass" insert(if there is one) in the blades leaving a 4mm hole? It worked for me with a set.
will it be safe to fly like that?
for now i just using 3mm bolt ... i fill the top and bottom blades grip' hole with 3mm washer .. to keep the blades slide in and out . it work fine for me. till i crash. i will get new pair blade with 4mm holes

Don't take this route.

Rather, use the 4mm bolts and take out the 3mm brass inserts in the blades.

Dont worry, they are carbon and great blades for the Logo 10.

I got the same blades in my kit and just tapped out the brass insert to use them with the 4mm bolts. I have flown them pretty hard like that for a while and havent had any problems

Getting back to the original question... I was at the Bremen model show on sunday and couldn´t help but noticing this logo 3d "basic" kit for sale. Maybe it is an old 2005 kit or maybe they are sold just in Germany like this but there was definately a lack of any battery support.
Looking at it, it reminded me of this thread so I took a photo... I think I´ve got to get out more
