Well, I am in the process of upgrading my heli, and I thought it would be smart to pre soak the clunk line, so it is already expanded before I put it in. Well, my black Hayes line turned the fuel black. I wonder what that is doing to the insides of our engines?I mean, when the fuel burns off in the engine, that black residue stays behind.

Wow, the ground was closer than I thought.

I've put new neo line in several times, but never "pre-aged" it.
It only turns the first tank or two of fuel dark, but it still burns fine. I'm sure that little discoloration didn't stay in the engine.
