I do love my Hyper for about 2 gal, of CP30. and then the bearing starts to make some nose. Then I have to replace them. I’ve tried the stainless races w/ ceramic ball, and stainless with metal balls. I’m running a gov, that keeps me at 1800rpm’s
I’m not ruining lean, I get lots of smoke, and I can leave my finger on the back plate all-day long. And I’m not the only one at our field with this problem.

Dimmit..I can stop this anytime I want..no..really I can

TT 50 when heliprow has them on sale. Try it but don't forget needle mod and 30% it climes just as good as my r 90 c spec.

I have had good luck with the tt50, No Mod needed on mine or any of the 4 or 5 I know of running around here.

Power is not as good as the Hyper, But fine for my skill level. And 2x the amount of flight time.

I still have the Hyper for when I start flying like Mark C.

I would like to hear how the webras are doing.

Use the search, there are photos in some threads. My tt50 couldn't run without the needle mod. I just couldn't get the mixture right. If I was good in my high speed and idle, my hover get very lean. The needle mod fixed this.

HOWEVER, needle mod will result in a very rich mid and low setting in plank when spinning a prop. Don't know why, but mine runs good with the low speed a lot leaner than in heli.

YS50?
pepenk, have you got any comments regarding the YS? I'm sure many people would like to hear of your experience with this engine.
