All I can say is WOW..... IT's like a mini trex the tail stays exactly where you put it, (I'm using a gy240) the headspeed is nice and high and the cyclic is very quick and responsive. I spent most of the flite time adjusting linkages so I have 0 trim and the tail will hold with no HH on in a hover but it's almost dialed in and ready for some flying hopefully tomorrow....... If you ever wanted a trex but didn't want to spend the money on one for $300 or so you will have one sweet flying small heli....

Its good to hear that someone is actually able to fly one of these. Most of the other posts I have read on the HDX300 are pretty negative. I bought mine when the "full kit" just came out. Still haven't got around to finishing it. There are a couple of issues that HD is addressing that I'm waiting for parts to fix. Weak rear L arm on the tail, and weak tail shaft.

What servos are you using? What motor and speed control? I'm going to use a CC25 and a Himax 2015/4100 with 8T pinion. What blades are you using? The stock woodies?

GAHH!!! Someone call 911!! My wallet is bleading heli parts!!

I just put it together with the stock outrunner motor it comes with and the sonic 18A esc I am using HS55 servos all around for now. I see where a bigger esc would be good, as mine is getting warm but I have the 11T pinion on it with really high headspeed and probably should have a 9 or 10T pinion, that would keep the ESC and battery cooler... So far I like it alot it would make a great indoor flyer for the long winter months and it's a fairly cheap belt drive heli.

I don't have a scale that small to weight a heli on. but I'm running the tp1320 pack, I'm getting about 7-8 min on the battery. What kind of flite time are you getting??? Maybe time for another battery pack to get more flite time....

I got 3 flites in on the HDX300, I had to move the ESC forward for better balance it was a little tail heavy the way I had it originally. On my 3rd flite as I was coming in to land the tail started rotating to the right with no input from me so I just got her down and hit T-hold The tail belt had loosend and ws not turning the tail blades much. Boy was that lucky or What???? So far that is the only problems I have had with the heli in 4 flites....

Im running a CC25 myself and pretty much have messed with all the options. I think I just lost my Electrifly battery some how it managed to charge way below 9v, according to my volt meter it was at 0.31 volts I dont know how it could have happend but i charged it back up and went to fly it and for some reason now when i go full throttle it seems to lose power instead of gain. So i think its toast. I still have a 900TP which gives me about 7 to 8 minutes of lfight so i guess Ill have to stick with it, until i get a new one.

Man those Electryfly lipos batteries must all suck. There is a flyer in my club who has lost 2 already. The center cell just went own to 0V. i tried to save one of the packs the packs but it was no use. I thought he must be doing something wrong but now I see its not just him that had this problem.

After loosing 3 batteries on my Cp2... and then 2 others for my King,

I decided to buy a balancer... now in addition to my lipo-alarm on the bird, I time each flight and balance lipos when I recharge them...

I have always used a balancer on my lipos but some batteries are better than others, IMHO. I bought 2 eflite cheapo packs and 2 TP pro packs all are 1320's. The cheapos are long gone and useless after 8 months but the TP's are still going strong....
