ez2bgman rrElite Veteran N'awlins, LA | After trial and error, I finally have my Raptor 50 flying exactly like I want it. She started life as a 50v2 and this is how I have her set up now:Titan boom and belt8.72 gear ratio OS 50 Hyper w/ Kasama aluminum fan Old hatori SB-1, Xcell .60 size muffler (works great) 3 - 9252's for cyclic and collective 9254 and Revmax for throttle Arizona Regulator and a Relion 4800 mah battery (pack split up to make 2-2400 mah packs) CSM 720 Gyro and 9254 for the tail. Full Kasama head (the best out there) Quick UK tail case and the upgraded grips with thrust bearings Radix 600mm main blades and 92mm tail blades 80 mm V-Paddles QUK flourescant orange landing gear 3D canopy custom painted by AceHelis. Now my Raptor flies just as well as higher dollar machines. It tracks perfectly in all flight orientations. There is no pitching or rolling during FFF. The roll rate is extremely quick with the kasama head. The Hatori SB-1 puts out as much power as the Muscle Pipe II, yet is much quiter and has a broader power band. Here are some pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Gary

montarok rrKey Veteran Brooklyn, NY | Nice, sweet looking (and flying, I hope) heli. You might want to flip the skids around though.------------------------------------

ez2bgman rrElite Veteran N'awlins, LA | I like the look with the skids pointed backwards. Looks like she is moving fast even while sitting on the table Gary

ez2bgman rrElite Veteran N'awlins, LA | They are QUK skids that I ordered from Rick's R/C. You can get them in several different colors. They are also a little bit taller and wider than the stock gear and they are a lot stronger.Gary

ez2bgman rrElite Veteran N'awlins, LA | soulrider911,Thanks for the compliment. I have always put my Raptor skids on backwards. I just like the more aggressive look.BTW, I see that you are looking at getting the Kasama head. You will not be disappointed. This setup definitely has a lot of "bang for the buck." You can buy them from z-rc.com.Good luckGary
