Hi,

I have setup my failsafe settings in my 12Z. I tried turning off the transmitter to test failsafe but it servos doesn't go to failsafe settings. Any advice? Running a DP-149 9 ch pcm receiver.

I dont have a 12z but it may depend on how long you wait between
updating the 12z FS value and shutting it off. It may not transmit
the special FS frame it needs to to the 149. You might have
to wait a number of seconds (like 10-30 in worst case)

I think the period that the tranny and reciever have to be on may even be longer than 10-30 secs
Leave them on for at least 2 minutes then switch off the tx.

The 9 chp sends failsafe signal as indicated by the PCM symbol inversing when the radio is on every 2 minutes. Dont know if the 12z is the same i would assume it is.

First, Double check every setting (so you aint missing something there),

Power up the radio before you power up the receiver.
Then test it, usually works for me.

However, if I power the radio after the receiver, then I have to wait for some reason.

Should be the other way around, but thats how it has been working for me on my 14MZ.

mine works fine on my 12mz

I set throttle to idle, all others hold. power up tx, then RX. I cna kill the tx, and the servo's all hold except throttle, which drops to idle.
