I purchased a Miniature aircraft CF tail rod kit. Comes with some small guides that somehow get attached to the boom. I was wondering if anyone has used one of these and if so, how did you attach the guides?

Thanks

That can be tricky because the rod has lateral movement unless you mount the servo on the otherside of the boom so as the rod moves back and forth, the central point doesn't deviate laterally.
Is this on a 50 or 90 ?

In that case I wouldn't bother using a central support.

That's what I've always done. In the last few months I moved my tail servos up front to keep them out of the oil. For that I made up a pivot so as to use a second pushrod to the servo. Works very well
