Go to the LHS, and cross their palm with plastic.
Worked for me.
It flies pretty good inside... too windy outside.
The CX-2 transmitter doesn't bind an AR60000 receiver... I had hoped it might.

On the right side, there's no slots in the receiver for THR and RUD.
On the left, it's typical CX.

Stillen, it handles well inside, much better than my first flights inside with the CX. But that might just be familiarity with the system now.
It's still tippy, and I've grown tired of investing in blades, so I'm gonna add some stubs to the landing gear to make it more stable when landing.

Paul,
What about trying http://www.super-skids.com/ for your CX-2, it may be an interesting mod?
Best Regards, Zephyros

Zephyros, I put some "torsion bar" style extensions off to the sides of the struts, to act as levers restoring the thing to level.. with any luck at all.
Have to wait until the weather improves ( a LOT) to try it outside.

Hi Paul,
Any chance of posting photos of your mod?

Here is another idea, these guys have a bunch of landing gear mods, maybe we could tweak one of them for the CX2?

Just simple wires bent around the struts.. Fitting the forward set wasn't as easy as the rear set.

Hey Sparky Paul,
Thanks for the photos! Is the 4-in-1 better as far as the tail-drifting issue with the CX?

Stillen, I can't let the thing get too "interesting' inside, so any tail drift would be corrected out just in manuvering.
If it warms up today, and the wind stops...
.
Note the transmitter can use Nicads/Nimhs. BUT... the charge plug is set up for JR, not Futaba or Hitec. Positive is on the outside ring of the charge plug.
The guys at Eflite say the batteries provided will run a looonng time in the transmitter.. Nicads or Nimhs may not be needed.
