I have a six year old JR PCM 10X that I converted to be a highbrid of single and dual stick. You can see a picture of this in my gallery:

I'm thinking about converting it back to dual stick and selling it but figured I would see if anyone is interested in buying it the way it is.

I've been flying like this for 16 years so did Curtis copy me?
Pretty cool, looks like you did a nice job on it. Wish I had it. By the way, Curtis was flying with one of those more than 16 years ago.

I don't think so! Curtis was still flying a normal single stick radio with the collective as a small lever on the right side of the transmitter while he held it in the palm of his left hand. I am not saying I was the first to fly a highbrid of single and dual stick but Curtis wasn't flying this layout before me. He was having to modify a dual stick radio into a single stick just like the rest of us who wanted to fly single stick. I was no longer happy with the feel of a dual stick radio that had been modified to be a single stick not to mention how much more simplified it is to modify a radio to be like the one in the picture. I think somewhere along the way Curtis came to te same conclusion. I sent him an email on it one time after I saw him switch but I never got a reply.

I don't think so!

What I meant was that Curtis was flying with a single stick radio way back when, not that he was flying with a radio exactly like yours. Back around 1989-90 or so I met him at the field several times a week for flying lessons, help with setup ect.

This would be cool to hook to a simulator that supported it and try it. I would love to see how single stick works

I'd like to buy it just because it's cool.

PM me the price.

But, how in the heck would you get it to me from your location? Never bought anything directly from Korea.

How do the controls work? Knob is for rudder? Might make my piroflips easier

SubSailor,

Yeap, a lot more of us were flying "regular" style single stick radios back in "89" and even more of us were flying them back in "78". They were much more popular back then but then all the radio companies quit making them all together and that's when I started making a hibrid culmination of dual and single stick like the one I have pictured.
