Is that each???

If it is I may need to stick to the plastic ones considering I can buy 6 more pair (not to mention the 3 pair I already have for back-up!) before I reach the $50 premium for bling-bling. I have a funny feeling I could prolly still break those in a regular crash. Trying to learn 3D might get a bit to expensive with those. They do look nice though.

I have read that the advantage of the plastic ones are that they could "potentially" save your carbon blades in a crash unlike the metal ones that wont give at all.

I am staying plastic for thinking along this line. Seems like a good way to bleed off impact energy.
I too am waiting for the new tail. I hope those early December rumors are correct.

I also got tired of wating on century. My swift 620 "prototype" turned into a trex600 last night.

I'm keeping the swift 16 for now though. I might buy the grips once the smoke clears from the trex.

The last time i crashed the swift the links and the arm mounted to the grip went flying (not to be found) , these parts added a fair bit to the repair bill. Still a cheap to repair heli I also had several parts on hand but not the rods had to go home after one eve at the funfly.

I'm not sure what im going to use for power yet.
Ozace on rcgroups is using emoli's on his t600 , he enjoy's more sport flying though.

I'm either going to break down and get lipo's (2x5c3300fp) or 10-14 123 cells (dewalt). Going to see how it goes.

Going to convert the swift to 123's as i'm told there will be a huge improvement over the emoli's.

I like the emoli's and they have done me very well. I think in the t600 , the power required to get 3d performance is above the emoli's specs. Now if your more of a sport flyer i'm sure 10-12 emoli's should do the trick for you.

Hopefully i can use the 123's in there stock 10 cell format but well see. Going to get the swift setup for them then try to make the t600 work with them. If not it's time to break out the wallet

I'm not talking down the emoli's though. I have a raptor 50 hyper on 30% cp fuel that is very, very close in performance to my 9 emoli swift. Nothing to complain about for $150 / pack
