If you are really smacking it around then sure, you can always transfer it to a larger one if you decide to go that route.

Out of the helis I've owned and flown, 30/50/90's, my 30 was the only one that had over-speeding problems. of which i couldn't overcome with curves.

Yes it would be a big help,but i would use a rev limiter instead of a gov on a 30. A gov tends to close the throttle too much and it's harder for a smaller engine to recover.DOUG
