Hi Been offered a complete package for a T-rex 600 with Sanwa Rd8000 72mhz. I am in the UK and i believe the Frequency is 35Mhz, so my question is can i just change the Xtals in the Rx and Tx or will it require new Electronics completely thanks

it is the carbon frame one with all electrics,Brushless motor, lipo`s and the RD8000, all new still boxed, been offered it for 340 inc postage, it was just the frequency that i wasn`t sure about but i think the heli is cheap enough anyway if i do have to replace a few electrics,

The only way to change frequency bands on Transmitters is if they have an RF module in the back. The RD8000 does NOT and so cannot be changed to 35Mhz.
Receivers are also fixed on a freq band and while they could be changed over, it's much cheaper to buy a new one on the correct freq.

Buy the setup, sell the tranny and get another on ebay.
He would still need a new receiver .

At the end of the day , it gets dark .

i think your right that he made the mistake about the frequency, i already have an RD8000 on 35mhz that i bought a year ago and never used, just really didn`t know if i could just change the xtals in the new one and run that at 35, either way if i do the deal i will sell the new one and the receiver if that can`t be changed.

Do you think 340 is a good deal even if i don`t use the Rx and TX?

Also will the servos be ok when used on 35mhz??

Thanks for all the info keep it coming
