Man! I can't belive this kit has so much slop in the tail rudder controls. Is this normal or do i have a bad kit. Most of the slop is comming from the tail pitch slider and the pin that goes into the hole of the lever. I thought this was the kit to have with all the upgrades allready.

Is there aftermarket parts to fix this loose ship?

Thanks for any help

Yep its normal.. Micro Heli Pro version has no slop but not as tough as Aligns. Im using the MicroHeli Tail Case w/the metal slider and support its a little cheaper compare to Pro version but it has a lesser slop compare to Aligns.

fwiw..

Don't worry about it...If you have 401/9650 set up right , the tail holds fine..The newest upgrade tail control assy. is a good investment if you do a lot of 3d however...

Thanks for the info guys.

Although im not into hard 3d i have to do something with this. I havent seen this much slop in a helis tail since the first edition century hawks. Im going to order a 9650 servo as soon as the spectrum 7 is available since i have no radio at this time.

I wander if the servo/battery will handle the extra work load of the loose tail system without overworking the servo?

One other question. Whats the best battery packs to buy? This is my first electric heli and as much as i love nitros it will be nice to hit the switch and fly.

I used to run a Telebee gyro and Hitec HS-50 (feather servo) on my T-Rex 450X V2 (all gray plastic). So long as the HS-50 had a strap of tape around it to keep it from exploding it worked fine

For servos most are running HS56 or HS65. Some are running HS81(faster) but you need to mod the frame to fit them. There are a few running JR mini digitals (287 I think is the number) and 285 non digital. For the tail the most popular is the S9650 digital, The JR DS3400 is supposed to be faster but its brand new and heavier. There is also the Airtronics 94761Z that gives good performance. Futaba has come out with a new Micro digital with good numbers. The S3154. Same size as the S3110 but digital. But it includes the same flimsey horns as the S3110.

GAHH!!! Someone call 911!! My wallet is bleading heli parts!!

I'm going to have to try the S3154 with my CSM SL420e. Same size as the 3110? Man that's small! I've got some S75 servo arms that'll work as perfect replacements for the cheesy ones that come with it.
