It is a stratus, not a conversion.

PEOPLE! There is NO difference in the conversion and the complete kit. It's all the same parts. Don't believe it.... CRASH ONE and see what you have to buy.

Dude, don't get your panties all twisted.  Inquiring minds want to know.  There is a difference.  The only thing new on the conversion is the main frame. The rest is the same unless you upgrade it as well.  Some people just want to upgrade the main frame and call it a Stratus but the main rotor head and tail rotor is a Fury Extreme.  It is a Stratus but just not the same as the original Full Stratus kit. It's easier just to ask if it is a conversion or not.

I will agree with you on the TR gear box but once that is addressed it is a Stratus. The head is offered as an Extreme 3D or Tempest. No difference.
The only thing new on the conversion is the main frame.
Sorry but your wrong there. I've been there and done that. Mine is still the most comfortable heli I've ever flown.

Vetrider,
Don't believe it.... CRASH ONE and see what you have to buy.
I upgraded my Fury Extreme to a Stratus after a major crash. The Stratus kit does NOT contain the head, flybar cage or the open tail. The upgrade kit, like OH58D says, is just the frame and the tank.

He is right and you are wrong. Get on the MA web site or call Heliproz.

PS - nick6444, hope you sell it. My Stratus is still by far the best heli I have in my fleet!

Bump for a good deal and an awesome heli!

---------------------------------------

Sorry to hijack your post Nick6444

Vetrider,

Pictures don't say everything. I know this one is a full Stratus but the conversion kit does not contain the head.

Check out page 6 of the instruction manual:
http://www.miniatureaircraftusa.com...ructions_R3.pdf

It clearly says above the picture that you will need the entire rotor head assembly, tail and tail boom assembly and the engine assembly. Then you'll need the additional parts in the picture. It is a simple clarification. Again, the upgrade does not contain the rotor head assembly.
