Gear Ratios (depending on what you have at the moment)
Head - Although you can set up the FAI head for 3D Flying
Tail - I would not have thought you need to change this.

Otherwise I guess you are going to need to get some 3D style Blades and paddles.

Head: If you like, the conversion to a Tempest 3D head is pretty easy. MA has a plan sheet online on their website. You need to order a flybar carrier, pitch arms, and a metal bell mixer kit. Get the rods, too. Grips and all associated bearings and so forth are the same. Get the one piece 90 D dampers.

Gear ratio: Order a gear ratio kit (the carbon plates) to yield 8.18 for an OS and 8.36 or 8.45 for a YS. You'll need a 90 tooth maingear and an 11 tooth pinion for 8.18 or an 11 tooth pinion and a 92 or 93 tooth main for 8.36/8.45. Get some shims to use as needed under the motor mounts.

Tail: You already have the gold standard parts.
