What is a safe TX Voltage. I have the Elite6 Tx that came with my HB. It has a digital readout of the batt. voltage. It just takes 8 AA batteries. I use the 1.2v rechargeables. When they're fully charged the readout reads 12v. What is the lowest it can go and still be safe?

Most radios will signal an alarm when it drops to 9.6V. I belive you can let it drop to 8.4V, yet I would not recommend it.

Of coarse I know how to fly this thing, but if you see me running try to keep up!!

If they are NiMhs then 1.1v per cell is your lowest absolute limit, however they drop off very quickly at the end whereas Nicads gently peter out. I would not start a flight with less than 9.6 v

on my tx it reads 9.2v and beeps to let you know battery low.
low battery = short range, land ASAP.and recharge for the next flight.

Thanks
I've noticed that when the readout says 9.0v the bird gets a little twitchy. I wasn't sure if it was stray signals or my Tx. Currently Running NiMhs but planning on getting a rechargeable pack for the Tx.
