Hopefully Mark doesn't get mad about me cross-referencing threads, but given the nature of the referenced thread, it really does apply to my fellow T-Rex fanactics.

Not quite finished yet, but I feel I've got the build at the point where you can start to appreciate the overall quality, and affordability.

Please no flaming. Lets keep this on the up and up, please.

Shell

We shall see. I had just finished an evening of building and was pretty stoked about the quality of the build. As far as build goes... Dragonus 1 - T-Rex 0

And I'm a big T-Rex fan too! Politics aside, just having fun

Title changed to be a bit less "in your face".

Love the Belt drive!!
The one-way bearing is actually linked to it too so that it'll spin freely with the main blades unlike what you get with Shogun type conversions.

You don't have to be politically correct with the title change for me... I'm always interested in a better bird, as technology progresses, in a few years, we will look back and wonder why we flew that crappy trex for so many years....now that we have the "hover-matic" as seen on tv model out... It just flies itself and you watch it, with self healing crashes and auto parts updating....

Tom..... No "D" flying....

The parts on the T-Rex head that will work are the spindle shaft, flybar (T-Rex flybar is about 5mm shorter), blades, and paddles. Possibly the washout base too.

I like the title change. It's a bit less controversal and will hopefully keep the thread open. I recognize who helps pay for this forum and would hate to upset the PTB.

I'm not sure. The Dragonus mainshaft is shorter.

Hi David,

Dragonus head fit on a T-rex 450SE. Also, you can use either original T-rex mainshaft or Dragonus mainshaft on T-rex SE.
