MAAVERIKK
I have have had some Maverikk parts here and there, some of their stuff is great, and other stuff I would stay away from, their push pull system is great, main blades are ok, love the wide cord tail blades, and their cnc head and grips I wouldn't bother with...I foyu are thinking of getting mixing arms whashout arms washout base flybar carrier...all that type of stuff I would go the Quick UK or Correct route. I have a lot of Correct CNC parts that are outstanding...check them out I think yo can only get em on e-bay...don't let that deter you these parts are top of the line, just type in "correct raptor" in the search field..good luck

Why don't cats get gray hair with age?.....

The Mavrikk line of parts are an excellent value. I use several of them on my bird without regrets.

What makes Quick or Correct better?
I have a Mav head block and wash out assembly and I do not have any issues. The only Problem I had was the faze ring pins did not move friction free in the washout base. I ran a small file in the slots a few times and it was perfect.

What makes Quick or Correct better?
Lesser Grade of Aluminum,Plastic used in making parts.Have several
Mavrikk parts, will not buy any more. For example Tail Fin,it is
softer and bowed permanently.

What?
I guess you must be a metal expert that you can tell the grade of the aluminum. I have used TT an Mav parts and I have a crap load of mav spares. Used the booms, Fly bars ect... No difference except for price. I have not used any of there plastic parts so I cant comment.

But thats just my opinion. Now you want to see bad aluminum look at those stinger parts

running full Mavrikk upper stuff on both 50's and thrashing the crap out of them routinely with zero issues.
For the dollars, I have zero issue with the Mav stuff.

This is a timely question for me. I'm about ready to order a Titan from Heliproz and cannot decide which kit to order. I for sure want the Hyper but not sure about the other upgrades. I'm leaning toward the $720 package that includes the pro blades and some aluminum parts. This is my first nitros (been flying a Trex 450SE) so I'm really not sure what the value of some of the upgrades are.
Any opinions?

Personally I use Mavrikk booms, flybars, spindles and main shafts. When buying upgrade or bling parts I go to TT or Quick UK. I just feel that they are a step above the Mavrikk parts.

Mav parts...
So far the Mav parts I've bought (metal ones) have all been fine. I've ordered a metal head block from another brand and we will see how well it lasts. If that fails I'll try the Mav head parts. BTW, if others are thrashing their Mav parts and have no complaints then I'd feel that they'd be fine for me to. I'm just getting into the early 3D stages now and if what I have holds up then I won't need them, but if it comes to it and I find that I do, then I'll certainly give the Mav's a chance. I really doubt that I'll ever be a CY or a AS, so I doubt that the very best parts (Quick UK, Correct or Kasama) will ever be a necessity for me. One caveat though. If you are planning to go the extreme 3D route then the aforementioned parts will be a big help in the long run. Just a thought...

I am with Heli88 on this one. I too use the Mav. Flybar, spindles, mainshafts, and booms. But for the upgrade parts, I use the Kasama head and the QUK tail assembly (although I am using a Mav. elevator push/pull upgrade with no problems). I just feel that you pay for what you get. And a little more money for the critical upgrades will pay for itself in the long run.

Wood blades...
Only woodies I've found to be any good so far are the TT and Century woodies. The others I have had or tried have seemed to have had to many problems with warps. With the woodies if you spend enough for the good ones you're almost at the price of the lower priced CF/FG blades and even those are better than the woodies. So at this time unless your just starting out with hovering and learning the ropes the CF/FG blades are your better bet, even if they are the cheaper ones (Mavrikk brand). Just my experience and opinion.
