What is the best way to paint blades and I once read a article that said painting one blade white and painting the other black will give the affect of alot slower rotor speed similar to full scale. Thanks for any comments or suggestions.

To get the scale affect you can paint one blade black and the other white or if the rotor disc is striped you paint the blades with the stripes opposite of each other. One red, black, red, black and the other black, red, black, red,..you get the idea.

On either fiberglass or carbon blades you need to scuff them with 220 or slightly higher dry sandpaper. Wipe them down, go over them with a tack cloth, and then paint in thin coats. If your coats are thick or uneven you could kill the balance of the blades.
