I jsut got this synergy yesterday, half put together, and I finished it up, and went to start it so I can fine tune everything, by the 4rd start of the day, the shaft that connects to the clutch is sheared out. Is this one piece or two pieces?

Is there an upgrade for a better 2 piece design with oneway bearing?

the start shaft is pressed into the clutch and it's avilable to buy in 1 piece only. if it has came out then contact wherever you got the kit.

was the fan dialed out of interest?

cheers

are you sure the hex coupler has not come loose or that the fan hub is not loose from the crank?

positive, since I have taken the engine out, and the shaft and clutch bell are in two seperate pieces.

I am not thrilled about this, I am almost willing to trade this heli off for something else.

"and the shaft and clutch bell are in two seperate pieces."

The clutch bell? You mean Clutch!!

Contact Synergy RC and they will replace your clutch. There is no other better heli than the Synergy. Get it flying and see for yourself.

yes the clutch and shaft are apart.

I wish I could get it flying, I like the look of it.

Whether or not the clutch and fan were dialed has nothing to do with the start shaft coming loose

how do you work that out???

has EVERYTHING to do with it as the vibes need to go somewhere and mines bolted on, read that, BOLTED ON at 12 thou. (remember the manual said you don't need to dial it, if i didn't know better i would have tried that) you telling me that wouldn't snap a start shaft??? remember it sheared off he said, SHEARED. not came off the clutch, either way if it was a mile out could cause it. not saying it did cause it, just i want to know.

cheers

sorry, came out of the clutch, I am now thinking that sheared off would mean a twisted break, like slicing a pencil in half.

I will take a picture and post it today.
