I need to get my carry permit, I had a DE .50, getting another at tax time. I have a Taurus PT-92 9mm stainless with trijicons, wife has a Baby Eagle .40. Built my own 10 mm 1911, probably owned more handguns than the local gun shop. ad an H&K usp .40 that was awesome. I need to use a couple tax checks to get the stock back up. Favorite is the DE .50 or the the upper for my AR in the same cal.

Thinkin' alike. Glock 23 (.40) & a Ruger Redhawk (.44 mag). No problem making kindling on the camping trips. Mossberg 12ga pistol-grip pump w/deer slugs for the 'big logs'.

Favorite is the Glock. It's harder to shoot straight than the Ruger but more satisfying once you get used to it. The Ruger is a damn cannon; after 30 rounds the wrist sometimes aches a bit. Good to have in bear country though.

IF I were to have a concealed pistol, it would be an all black, stainless, 9mm SIG compact p229, with Crimson Tracer grips.

Stainless Steel Colt Commander w/Wilson Combat mags. Sierra 185 JHP's. Used to carry an AMT Hardballer .45, same load, that everyone snickered about, but when it absolutely, positively, HAD to work, it did. That's all I asked of it...

There is no substitute for the 1911 model....

My favorite carry of choice for the last seven years is a Kimber Ultra Carry in .45 ACP flavoring.

Love my Beretta 92fs. Weight, balance, and recoil is perfect for me. Don't have my carry permit yet, plus it's kinda hard to conceal

Amen to that!

Kimber Custom Stainless Target 1911 in .45 ACP (somewhat modified) most of the time. Sometimes a Colt Combat Commander w/ Novak adjustable night sights (started life as a .38 Super ... now a highly modified 9mm (only 2 Colt parts left on it )).

For competition, it's either one of the above, a Kimber Polymer .45, or (my favorite) my hand-built STI 2011 race gun in 9x23 (also accepts 9mm Super Comp and .38 Super Comp).
