Ok, I have a G7000T gyro, and I am setting it up with a 7ch reciever (hitec)

I have this same reciever in other birds with the GY401.

Now I have the black connector (Select) connected to ch 5, and I am able to adjust the gain, when above 50% its in tail lock, when below its in rate mode, verified by the light on the gyro.

So, now I have this extra white connector (gain) where do I connect this? to my ch7 and use on a switch?

or am I mistaken about being able to adjust gain on the black lead?

My Tx/Rx:
Hitec Eclipse 7 QPCM / 7ch QPCM Reciever

Ch5 on Rx is the Gain on Tx
Ch7 on Rx is a Switch on Tx

help, what to do?

I think I got it, is it this:

White (Gain) is for gyro gain
Black (select) is for Tail lock gain, sorta like locking strenght?

if so, should I do this:

White to my gain adjustment on radio (ch5)
Black to ch7 (switch), and use ATV to set lock strength?

then by flipping ch7 switch I can have two tail lock strenghts?
