Finally, I decided to try this best e-heli in the world.

I just bought a logo 10 from RR, I am considering whether to try 6S or 8S, which tango motor provide more flexiblity for 6S or 8S?

It seems tango 45-10 is good for 6S running 19/20t,
and tango 45-8 is good for 8S running 18/19t.

But can I buy tango 45-10 using 8S running 14/15t,
or I should buy tango 45-8 using 6S running higher motor gear such as 24/25t? (Anyone knows the motor gear range for 5mm)

I am also plan to extend the tail boom to logo 14 so I can using 550mm main blade. For this point, what should I try, 6S or 8S?

I am using this logo for piroflip, tic-toc, snake, rainbow, and I am going to try piro tic-toc, piro-loop and chaos. What should I try 6S or 8S?

Anyone try these before? or any suggestions?

Regards,

I am nobody, but a RC heli freak

45-10 with 20 tooth on 6S will be plenty of jam even with the stretched boom and 550s and a pitch range of 11/11, If you want abit more than that then 8S will be fine, bit honestly the L10s' I have seen on 6S with either the Tango 45-10 or the NEU 1910-1Y with 20 tooth have been very impressive.

Cheers

I went with Shawn's suggestions and I am very happy with my set up! It's got plenty of power to do anything you want it to do.

Most importantly, the system runs cool.

Martin,

45-10 and NEU 1910-1Y setup in logo 10 with 6S are equally adequate. They are plenty of power. I used to run my 45-10 with +/-14 degree with a really good 20C lipo with 18T and +/-12 with 20T, no problem at all. There are quite a few people flying those setup in HK already, they are proven solution world wide. Another choice would be Z30 from z-power, they are excellent with 6s at a friction of the cost.

I think 8s is going to make your Logo 10 insane but it will cost more to run. Battery is going to be expensive..
