The pro for upgrade-ability.

It is ready for an external HH gyro... and ready for your brushless :-)

I'm not sure if the CP "can't" have a HH gyro, but the BCP PRo is ready for it. I believe the 4-in-1 on the CP makes it much more difficult to do. I read these forums for a month before I decided to get a BCP Pro and I'm glad I did. The Pro has a 3-1 which is not prone to burning up like the CP's 4-in-1 and a 6 channel radio(if you do add the gyro) it will be on the 5th channel and adjustable with a turnknob on the radio(as opposed to using a screwdriver on the 4-1 or 3-1). There is always a bit of wind when I fly outdoors and i'm glad I have the 370 motor ( I may get a brushless setup for Christmas). I get great runtimes with the Lipo's that also come with a Pro.
I can't speak for the BCP I never had one , but everyone that started with a BCP eventually want's to get the heatsinks, the Bell Hiller head upgrade, the 370, LiPo's(and a charger) and the Pro ends up being alot cheaper that the upgrades. They complain about burning up 4-in-1's and eventually want a HH gyro. There all Blades and I love mine, glad I started with the Pro.

cp or cp pro
i started with the e-flight blade cx, if you want to git a verable pich heli the t-rex is the only electric heli i would fly. the blade cp is unstable and hard to fly, but if you looking a the e-flight blad cp the pro is the only way to go. it hase the bell mixer upgrade 3 cell lipo and charger, better tx and 3in1 the cooling heat sinks on bolth motors, it also can be up grade to a brushless motor set up and HH gyro. the normal blade cp only wont take and HH gyro or the brushless motor, the 4in1 wont do it i hope iv been some help and thank you for your post.

hrm... someone forgot (.)'s
hehe

Kinda sounds like he assumes TREX's are stable... but... you have to remember all heli's are unstable as hell... its just at what degree...

I've had my BCP since October 2005 and
i'm still learning on it. At that time
there was no CX or PRO on the market.
So my 2 cents is go with the "Pro"
and I think you will be very happy.
(better battery, better head and better Gyro)
Oh yeah, The Pro is on my wish list now.

CP has flat bottom blades. 9.4v battery . Hiller head. Pro has symmetrical blades, 11.1v lipo, Bell-Hiller head. the Pro has a bit more runtime.

CP is a gentle flyer a bit easier for a beginner. Pro is more responsive which is good for aerobatics but a bit too responsive for a newbie. Pro has higher head speed and because of symmetrical blades, flies in the wind a bit better.

The Pro is better suited for flips and inverted flying because of the Bell-Hiller head, symmetrical blades, and higher head speed.

The CP can become a Pro with a little cash for parts. That being said, might as well get a Pro.
