Hey Guys!

I have this Duralite package.

Digital Load Tester (PPD-43051)
7.4 Volt Charger (PPD-21007)
Duralite Plus Lithium - Ion 4000 mah - 7.4 volt 4 cell - 2s2p Rechargeable Battery:
Duralite Heavy Duty Futaba Switched 5.3 volt - 7.5 amp regulator (65053-HD)
PPD21915 - DURALITE A/C ADAPTER 1700 MAH

Will the regulator work ok with my GY401 and servo? I was told that it should run around 4.8-5.0. The regulator is 5.3v.
Is that ok to use? I don't want to burn out the tail servo.

I have gone 2 flights so far and all is ok. But don't want to continue until I find out if the regulator I am using is ok.

Thanks for any info!!

It works great with the 401/9254. I have been using the 5.3 volt setup for a long time now with no problems.

I have been running 5.3 on my 611's for 2 years with not problems. It's the 6.0 that is the real problem, as I have been told by people I trust.

Hey Guys,

Thanks again for all the info. I can fly with minimal worries, EXCEPT for pilot errors and dumb thumbs!!

Hey beidle99. I usually buy my stuff from a website listed on RR. Not sure if I can post vendor links or not. People might think I am promoting a site.

But I highly suggest calling Bob at the manufacturer. He was informative about the Gem. Of course their prices are retail but I guess you pay for the ton of info he tells you about the unit.
I paid $38 for the dual green led. The link is posted below for the manufacturer.

Hope that helps...

I fully charged Nicad is about 5.3 volts. You'll be good to go.
