hey guys,
i tried to talk my son into flying heli's,but he wanted a plane instead!
we bought a tower trainer 40 in the summer but only managed about 6 flights with one of our local flyers using the buddy box.
i am looking at getting him an electric trainer for x-mas that we can fly in in the field next to our house.
the filed is probably 600 feet wide by 1000 feet deep, just not enough take off and landing room for a big nitro trainer.
what do you think of this one?
or if anyone knows of a better one let me know.
i want a balsa one that i can set up on my futaba 9chps radio.
thank's

That should be easily big enough for any IC trainer .

At the end of the day , it gets dark .

I think you will enjoy that plane. I've flown the glow version and it flew really well. It's basically the same thing as the glow just smaller. Good luck with it

I've got the low-wing version of that plane, the Goldberg Tiger 400. It's very well behaved. He'll likely have a blast with it. With a 2100 mAh I get 30 minute flight durations. With a 1320 mAh it'll climb straight up (w/a brushless motor).

thank's for the advice guys,my wife thinks I am the one who needs the therapy due to my obsession with heli's!!
the field is huge, but really nowhere for a nice long runway, that is why i was looking for something smaller and electric!
