just a question is it always better to stay in heading hold or not like in ff is it better to be in normal mode ?

Most people stay in HH if there aspiring to any sort of advanced aeros/3D, is you just like to fly round with loops rolls etc rate mode is fine, i've seen some pretty hot flying done with a rate gyro but HH makes it MUCH easier lol

ty it very hard for me as there is only me and my friend that fly helis as a lot of people in my club are all plane flyers and mostly old chaps we do run a indoor club that is going well but once againg it mostly old chaps with bell 47 twister and larmas but that enjoy it so hh all the way then that will do me thanks

Normal mode is fine for scale type flying and even some manouvers like loops, stall turns, rolling circles, forward inverted flight but the heli must be going forward. You can even do some slow piro work. As soon as you want to fly backwards or sideways you need HH.
