Hello,
I have a gy601 that will stay rock solid in non heading hold,
when i switch to heading hold the tail drifts to the left, I
have to constantly correct the tail, I have tried moving the sensor,
I now have it mounted to the tail boom with zeal tape and it still
drifts to the left.
The machine is a minature aircraft Stratus with a YS 90 I have
tried different head speeds, different tail blades, I have
re- dialindicated the fan less than 002 and re-balanced the fan,
NO IMPROVMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

H E L P !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks In Advance
Ken

lots of posts on this. do a search. 2 strips of thick csm gyro tape cured mine. zeal gyro mount did not help for me nor did moving sensor. but what ever works let us know.

My Avant drifts a small amount as well, at least until the heli rotates 360 degrees. After that it holds very well. I gave up trying to figure out why and instead just through in a piroette to get it over with.
