sure

the g 501 was a NON heading hold rate type gyro....then the gy501 WITH rate AND HH came out....it was then replaced by the gy 502.

Although the sensor for both g and gy 501 is LARGE compared to the 502/601 sized, it works very well. The control box is about the same size as the 502/601 series.

That is why I asked which one it is....

Maybe I'm too old..... my first gyro was a Futaba 153 BB mechanical

About 11,500 plus TTL. I have had some work done on mine, so the 185 limit is defeated and it gets above that kinda fast. 155 or so in the quarter mile. I need to work on my holeshot, though...

ON SUBJECT....the gy501 IS a good setup, and the servo is reliable and fast. I use one in a scale ship now....and would recommend it to someone looking for a gyro with independent end point adjustments etc....

good luck on the sale.
