Hi Guys,

I have a L10 carbon and I'm thinking on strechting it with the 14 boom , belt & rod.

My question is can the 10 head (LLS with 4mm grips and steel spindle ) handle the power and load of 550's and 10s??? or should I stay with 6-8s.

Also do you think the mod.5 will handle the power or should I change it to the .7??

Ed,

Not an issue on the 10S thing, and in regards to the gearing mod .5 will be abit more fragile of course so if you can mod 7 would do better for certain. I can not recall if the height is the same though...anyone??

As OICU812 sais, the head can handle 10S unless you are planning to use the 10S run extreeme head speeds

I would definately go for the .7 gears. Dont remember who but there are someone here in this forum that are running .7 on a Logo 10.

if your running it on 550's why not get the logo TEN stretch instead of the 14, then you won't need any mods

Logo 10 stretch kit = Logo 14 Parts
Logo 14 stretch kit = Logo 20 Parts
and so on...

If you're going to stretch a Logo 10 to a Logo 14, and wanting to run 10S, why not just start out with a Logo 14?

I might try this next:

Logo 14 using a Logo 10 boom and belt, Logo 10 head. 10S set up .

It will be a high voltage Logo 14 but small like a Logo 10 to fly at smaller parks. I've got that now but it's on a 6S set up. Will try a 10S set up next. 10S set up using 500mm blades

The thought of buying that Ion has crossed my mind. She surely looks nice! But man, I think I'm up to 20 electric birds now. But then again, one more wouldn't hurt. But but, I said the same thing after my second electric bird....'one more wouldn't hurt'

Back to the topic (somewhat), you think 10S is too much for a Logo 10? Something is bound to blow up. Well, unless she meets the ground first by her owner with dumb-thumbs
