I've been having a rather annoying problem. I need a longer bolt for the mucle pipe II (os 50) but no matter how much I look, I cannot find a large enough bolt. (I've checked every hardware store I know of in the area). The ones that come with the stock raptor hatori pipe are not long enough and the hobby shop wont part out the bolt that comes with the muscle pipe.

The problem with the original bolt was that it stripped out so I'm simply looking for a replacement.. without having to buy another muscle pipe.

You should be able to source threaded rod and use two nuts instead

I dont have the part#, but there is a Xtra Long Screw Kit by Duratrax (for RC cars) that has about 15 screws in there and 2 of them are the right size for bolting on a MP2. Check the car section of your LHS. The kit should run about 3 or 4 bucks.

Hope this helps.

Hi, glfloat.

I have also had this problem, fortunately the correct shouldered bolts you require are available from three main line heli OEM'S

These are long enough, to pass through the hyper case, and attach the MP11

As follows.

JR
JRH80022 : Cap Bolt M3 x 40 (10)

Robbe
1-S3037 : SOCKET SCREW M3X40 2PCS

Carbon Extreme
CX00-100-429 M3x40mm Grade 12.9 alloy steel Socket head cap screw (8)

Hope this helps .

Go to your local Fastener store, I have Fastenal, they have every length of bolt or screw you will need. All hardened.

What did you strip out? The bolt or the threads on the pipe? I have some bolts that will fit perfect for the MP2 but it's not long enough to go all the way through. It only sticks out the pipe by half a mm so you won't be able to use a loc nut.
