I suggest that you consider throwing a video camera in the air.

I suspect that once you do this....."varrying light levels" will be the very last worry on a very long list of things that will annoy you.

Just a hunch, but an eduacated one at that. I believe that we are all getting some time and experience with this new technology.

Here is a brilliant idea, why don't you post some comparrison footage for us, even if it is just ground footage?

I always like over water shots - Looks like you got close enough to get some splashes on the lens

Ace - have attached an example of a fixed aperture shot so you can see the effect. I generally prefer to use this method, but you can see the limitations when the heli turns back into the sun. - In this case I would cut the clip before the turn to make it useable.

Hmmm am I ruffling your feathers?

I have heard that Tabb was an expert so for me to say it was a great video wouldn't mean much, would it? I saw the same change in light levels (maybe not to the same degree) as what I get with a standard cam. So I was trying to call on his expertise as to whether something can be done about it. I am sure his videos will always be better than mine but can I improve mine is the question?
