Hi Lorents,
It wasnt failsafe. after inspecton, i found that mixing arm was twisted. I guess that was caused by my linkages. I am inclined to think there is something wrong with pushrod lengths.
I read in one of the threads that the main shaft length is about 5mm shorter now, is it right?

We just built a 10 3D and the push rod lengths worked spot on. l cant see anything binding in the hover. l had a iffy receiver that caused a simular crash.

I am not sure, but I think that the hardened main shaft may be a bit longer but thats because it use a black plastic thingie and a pin through the shaft to keep it in place in stead of the C-clip.

Hi Lorents,
I think that is what i've got - a plastic thingie and pin to lock the main gear.

Will that mean that the pushrod lengths change?

The plot thickens.

When l had a L10 carbon it came with a pin and two plastic thingies. One gave it +- 11 and the other +- 13 and that would require a change of rod length.

Have a good one Swash, we`ll get this sorted when you get back but l`d say it time to for get the book and set the rod lengths to what ever it take to get every thing at 90 deg at mid stick zero.

Thanks Tosh. Got back sometime back and just recovered

I was pondering with my setup for a while and couldnot find a solution. But, at last just out of pure luck i got it sorted . Turns out that the part 2389 (the plastic bit that secures the main gear from the bottom) was shaved so that the mast is lifts up and makes room for the battery. This i found out accidentally by replacing a spare one i had in the parts box. With the mast up, no matter what i did, i couldnt get right setting.

Well all is good now because, i had to anyway move the battery to front to get right CG.

thanks to all.

Hello again.

I have had to put my hobby on the shelf for a bit.I had sold my servos JR 3121 a while back.

I have now bought Futaba S9650s and have a problem I hope someone could help. The servo plates were trimmed and drilled for my old servos and S9650s are different size and I cannot use the same plates and am unable to find anyone in the UK selling these (Part 0707).

Could someone tell me
1. If part 0707 contains 2 pieces for both sides or do i have to buy 2 each.

2. If someone in the UK knows where to buy them. I couldn't find it in revolution models website.

While re-building the logo I found this:

I suppose, the thing is a bit flimsy and will require constant inspection (Atleast if the heli hasn't been in use for a while).

I am now using a Sceadu clamp. Its a bit heavier, possibly because it is not the hollow type as the logo one.

Its pretty common to over tighten these and do that, i think i'm using a MA one on my Logo14, much stronger steel unit.
