remove both link rod end from ball link (servo horn / tail) and slide the rod by your hand .. free? or feel resistance and do the same with tail section ... if too fit need modify or lubricant..

Be aware that your Gyro gain will be lower than it was with 80mm tails.
The bigger the tails become the lower your achievable gyro gain will become. Note also, as the servo arm length is increased the gyro gain will be lower to.

I suppose the easiest way to explain it is

Because you have increasded the overall effiency of the tail system by the above changes(mechanical gain). You then reduce the gyro gain to compensate. The aim is not to get the higest gyro gain possible but a system that works with the minimial gain acceptable thereby increasing the life expectancy of the tail servo...

Success!! Beautiful day in upstate NY. I got the wag solved, replaced the o-rings in the carb, rebuilt the tail and all is great, no wag. I did move the ball out on the servo horn to 16mm and lowered my gain to 85%. Next I will order the SAB 92mm tail blades.

Hey glad you got it sorted..

I had a similiar niggle a while back, the slider on the tail shaft was a little sticky but could see no reason for it ..took me ages to work it out

My problem was caused by the screw that holds the ball to the slider..(the ball inside they grey tail pivot arm) The screw was ever so slightly long and was pressing the against the bearing thats inside the slider..
