todays been awesome with 7 tanks burnt through the OS .37 today. I was actully doing practise autos today but with power on. Still getting use to inverted circuits and there was not a drop of wind today. Maybe a bad thing for what I want to do... lol but im not complaining. I put the OS .91 in last night and found a problem with the pinion not even touching the main gear??? I asked Grant who I bought it from and he said that I can change the angle of starter shaft but I cant find that anywhere in the manuel, might just have the lower metal block in upside down or something.Helinuts I will spend a sleepless night today taking the whole thing apart and see where I have done wrong. If i cant find anything could I pop down to see you this week maybe. cheers jordan

by the way. Does he wear knee length socks with short shorts and a dopey hat with badges all over it? I often find those are the sorts that do random things like that.

Slight change in discussion......

A couple things from warm, sunny Wellington-

Yesterday could not have been nicer conditions to fly, with maybe 12-14 heli guys crowded onto Trentham with too many glider guys (if you ask me). Anyway- we all got along and had a good time.
Maybe ya'll should come down here..... always pleased to have visitors!

And- Rotorua- anybody planning on doing a spot of night flying Saturday night? I'll bring my gear, but don't wanna be out there by myself- I'll be lonely!

See ya- G2

I apologise on behalf of Kumeu Leigh. Things are getting sorted, trust me on this one. The actions of one member are making us all look bad. The rest of us are VERY appreciative of your help...

It will be #$@%@ cold at night, I'll prefer to be in a nice warm eatery.

Hamilton also was 10/10 yesterday but unlike Wellington we had no wind

Damn Damn Damn, I'm in the USA during the Rotovegas event (away August 9-29). Hope you guys enjoy it, that is one of my favourite places to fly too! Bugger it.

My Grandfather is getting married though and it's not every day you get to witness that.

I feel you pain lpearce, Kumeu has had 4+ years of this crap, its gotta stop. You are just the next victim to join a long list of upset Heli fliers, most now wont go near that club.

One single person is hell bent on destroying this hobby from within.

LOL nothing would surprise me if it came from one person in the Kumeu club he heeds to get some help, I think he may have a mental disorder, no I am not trying to be funny I seriously think he has some issues and needs help. There must be an underlying problem causing him to act the way he does. I have one bit of advice for him MEDICATION get some!!

I understand I am not far off the mark with this by all accounts.
And I am not surprised either. It's always these tossers that are not loved by anyone....even their dog. So they terrorise others by getting involved in a club and then singlehandedly take over and represent the club based on their own warped image. Best thing to do is take him out the back and convince him he's not wanted....can't guys vote him out of the club if no one wants him?
Just make sure someone else is prepared to stand up and take his place.

Pi$$ awful reason Jason. It's just a wedding! Damn dude....wheres your head at? Where do your loyalties lie? Me having to go to work to make cups of tea for the other guys...now thats a reason.

This is being handled the proper and diplomatic way. If that doesn't work then yes, schoolyard rules may apply. And yes, we have many capable and willing members at our club.
