U could always have soldier bring ur fuel down or order it from down here - send ur lipos down via courier, they will put a sticker on it and place it in a container specially designed for flammable gear - fly down bro and ill scoop u up, I'm a stone throw away from the airport as u know - I got u bra

I thought you could take lipos on as hand luggage just not checked in? At least that's the case in the US.

As for bags - hard case golf bags seem like a good idea.

Not sure why you'd need a bra though?!?!

When the Christchurch boys come up they just had a couple of cheap plastic containers from the warehouse (with lids) They just pulled the booms off and attached them once they arrived. They each brought two helis (with spares) and they fitted into one container. Worked very well and cheap.

WELLINGTON FUNFLY 8th 9th 10th MARCH

Well, after 365 days of planning by myself and the dedicated team of Wellington Model Aero Club, the flavour of the sausages have been chosen along with the perfect length of the grass for the national heli sheep herding championship, we are all ready to announce that the popular Wellytown Funfly is on again.

With prizes as good as Kyosho ball link arms and a grass patch that was once stood on by an incredibly famous heli flyer you have absolutely no good reason to not want to attend.

The above reasons make the Wellington Funfly the place to be seen and one of the more popular events in NZ.

We already have pilots registered from around NZ so hopefully you will attend too.

For more info and registration info please swiftly click on http://www.helifliers.co.nz so we know if you are coming.

For those that have been before (and there are lots of you) you know we are a awesome bunch of people and great fun to spend a weekend with. We can probably help with finding homes for you to sleep in so just ask.

Looking forward to catching up with old, new and past friends.

Cheye

I've got a brand new crank case you can have. Some nice guy in Ch-Ch gave it to me just before he got eliminated from the first round in the nats

I'm taking a good look at March to see what's gong on. Might be time to take a trip to Wgtn and mingle with some heli fliers again. Hopefully I can sort some free accommodation in the flash place across the road from the field.

One main reason i'm choosing the 14SG over the 8FG is the wider switch spacing on top for my stupid fingers, lol. That and it's newer

Question about Tuesday

Hi guys-

G2 here- now living up in Auckland. Boy- do I miss Trentham!!!

Anyway- I have a question for everyone here-

who is going to New Plymouth for Tuesday afternoon?

I will be going, and I think I know one other- but just trying to make the plans. Not sure if I will go down and back in one day, or stay Tuesday night (at the Lockwood Motel- my fav).

Anybody??

Thanks- g

Apparently there was an "unscheduled canopy-eject" that actually ended really well? I didn't see it but a mate of mine was at the airshow!
